I’ve been having quite a run of problems with my teeth lately. I lost a tooth while going through chemo and to be honest I feel there was and still is very little attention given to Dental Health during treatment. With the exception of being told to use a soft bristle tooth brush I wasn’t really given any information on how to mind my teeth that bit more or the effects that treatment would have on my pearly whites.
Dr. Danielle Colbert of The Fresh Breat Clinic, in Churchtown has been recently taking care of my teeth. She has kindly put together an information leaflet especially for Cancer patients. Remember all patients react differently to treatment and everyone experiences different side effects. I hope this information leaflet is helpful to you.
