The second Irish Beauty Blog Awards took place in Lillies Bordello last night. Co-hosted by Breakfast Republic’s Keith Walsh & Xpose’s Laura Mullet. The atmosphere was electric and the venue had a really cool vibe. I especially loved the giant Tan Organic deck chair which was in great use for lots of really fun selfies.
The event in association with Tan Organic was held to celebrate and acknowledge the talent of Ireland’s top blogging and vlogging stars, all while raising awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Ireland. I had attended last years event and really enjoyed it so I was quick to purchase my ticket for this year and I have a feeling its only going to get bigger.
As someone who had Breast Cancer and was diagnosed relatively young I looked around the room and I felt touched to see so many bright, talented people out in force wanting to help raise awareness about Breast Cancer and eager to learn more about it.
The night itself was so much fun starting with a Champagne reception, canapes and we were all given a jam packed goodie bag. I had the honor of accepting an award on behalf of Roz Purcell who was unable to make the awards so that was fun. Well done to everyone who won an awards and thank you to all who sponsored this wonderful event, you helped raise awareness and make a difference.
